Miniature F1B Bernedoodles
What's so special about F1B Miniature Bernedoodles? Everything! My Bernedoodles have an AKC registered purebred Bernese Mountain Dog mommy (75 pounds) and an AKC registered purebred miniature poodle daddy (12 pounds). That makes Harley and Bailey, my Mini Bernedoodles, F1 (First Breeding) Bernedoodles. They weigh about 30 pounds. So Harley and Bailey are the mommies and my AKC registered small standard Poodle (or Moyen - Medium size), Big Red, is the daddy. Their offspring are considered F1B, the "First Breeding Back" to a Poodle. The F1B are known as the Bernedoodles with the most dependability to not shed. The F1B Mini Bernedoodle is typically 75% Poodle DNA and 25% Bernese Mountain Dog DNA. They are considered hypoallergenic. Because my Poodle stud has soft, straight hair with very little wave when wet, these Bernedoodles have great hair that doesn't easily mat or tangle! Ask a doodle owner how great that is! Bernedoodles are considered very calm in nature, typically calmer than many other doodle mixes. They are always happy and ready to give a hug.
Bernese Mountain Dogs are sweet family dogs. They can have a protective nature in a lovable way. They are not aggressive. Bernedoodles are little goofballs! And they love to be with their family.
